Ceva Launches Remarkable New Pheromone Support For Cats - FELISCRATCH By FELIWAY
Scratching on household furniture is the number one unwanted behaviour in cats, with 56 per cent of owners experiencing the problem in their household1.
Ceva Animal Health has launched an innovative new pheromone to help with this frustrating issue, FELISCRATCH by FELIWAY, which joins the popular FELIWAY CLASSIC (F3 pheromone) and FELIWAY FRIENDS (cat appeasing pheromone) ranges.
FELISCRATCH by FELIWAY is a synthetic copy of the feline interdigital semiochemical (FIS) naturally produced by cats and is the only product clinically proven to help redirect scratching behaviour onto a desired location. It helps control both vertical and horizontal scratching and helps prevent inappropriate scratching with newly adopted cats or kittens.
It is available in a pack of nine single use 5ml pipettes which should be applied on a scratching post to redirect the scratching. The product uniquely attracts cats in three ways, the blue staining mimics the visual message (scratch marks), catnip helps attract the cat to the scratching post, while the pheromone directs cat scratching on the surface where the product has been applied. It is easy to use and one pack lasts for up to four weeks.
FELISCRATCH by FELIWAY can be used alongside FELIWAY CLASSIC if the owner is experiencing stress-related scratching or alongside FELIWAY FRIENDS for conflicts in the home.
