Laptop showing website Following the very successful launch of Closamectin Pour On in Europe, leading veterinary pharmaceuticals manufacturer, Norbrook Laboratories Ltd has re-launched www.closamectin.com, a website aimed at keeping farmers and vets up to date with the Closamectin product range and providing them with advice and guidance on fluke, worms, and external parasites. “Norbrook first launched www.closamectin.com to coincide with the launch of Closamectin Pour On in 2009,” explains Mr Bob Ferguson, Norbrook Marketing General Manager. The website was launched primarily as an educational facility where farmers and vets could learn in detail about the product and has proven very popular and effective. With the launch of Closamectin Pour On in Europe, it is an appropriate time to re-launch the website. The focus of the site will remain an educational tool for customers new to the product. However, for farmers and vets who are familiar with the product, they can also access articles, information, and advice provided by Norbrook’s Veterinary Technical Advisors on issues relevant to the industry.” Additional features on the website will include regularly updated online offers, an e-newsletter, and an events calendar, which give visitors information on key agricultural events. Closamectin Pour On launched in Europe in July 2011 to wide acclaim with over 27 million doses sold in UK, Ireland and across Europe to date. “There has been a growing anticipation and demand for the product throughout Europe and we are delighted that it has been so well received,” adds Mr Ferguson. “It is our future intention to provide www.closamectin.com in a number of languages for the European markets.”
