Screenshot of new website Companion Care Vets, a market leader in small animal veterinary care, has launched a dedicated recruitment website, providing veterinary professionals with a ‘one stop shop’ for available partnerships and careers across the 90+ Companion Care Vets surgeries in the UK. www.ccvetjobs.co.uk has been developed in direct response to the rapid growth that Companion Care Vets has seen in the past three years. There are now 98 surgeries across England, Scotland and Wales with the first surgery soon to be opening in Northern Ireland. The company has doubled in size in the past three years and is on track to do so again by 2015. The website offers a user friendly career search function with opportunities for vets, nurses and practice support staff as well as a host of roles, including HR and accountancy positions, at the company’s rural support office in Oxfordshire . Stephanie Barrett, Recruitment Manager, Companion Care Vets says, “We are one of the largest employers of veterinary professionals in the UK with 117 Joint Venture Partners. Our surgery numbers are set to double in the next three years and with many of our current surgeries expanding their teams to meet client demand, there are a host of exciting career opportunities available. Our new website offers an easy to navigate ‘one stop shop’ that provides all of the information and tools needed to find the job to suit you – whether that is employed vet, Joint Venture Partner or part of our support team.” The Joint Venture Partner model offers vets and nurses the opportunity to open their own surgery, with the support of Companion Care (Services) Ltd, either within Pets at Home or at a standalone location .The new website offers a wealth of information to veterinary professionals wishing to find out more about this option, and has been designed to be the very first step in the journey for those professionals wishing to opening their own practice. Jane Balmain, Managing Director, Companion Care Vets comments, “2012 has been quite a year for the business – we will soon be celebrating our 100th surgery opening and in March we were named as one of The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For, becoming the first veterinary group to be awarded this accolade. Our continued growth is such that we offer a whole host of career opportunities and believe that launching this online portal will prove to be extremely beneficial to those veterinary professionals looking for a challenging career.”
