Complete Guide To Weight Management - An Expert-led Series Of Webinars Free Of Charge

An expert-led series of webinars on weight management in pets provided by Hill’s Pet Nutrition finished at the end of November and is now available to watch, free of charge, online. For veterinary nurses who want to set up a weight management clinic or add something extra to their offering, the series is a goldmine of information.

The series begins with Marge Chandler describing the scale of the problem and the metabolic changes that occur in animals in the obese state. The second talk, by Libby Sheridan, describes how to set up a weight management clinic and promote the service: a vital element in establishing a successful business model.

The third webinar focuses on exercise plans for obese animals. Donna Carver and Melanie Grant describe the basic principles of physiotherapy and equipment required. Then they explain how to customise an exercise programme that suits the needs of obese and overweight patients.

Each webinar lasts about an hour and a half, including a questions and answers portion.
