Dechra Offers Free CPD Events On Hyperadrenocorticism

A series of free CPD events on hyperadrenocorticism (Cushing’s disease) for vets and vet nurses will be hosted by Dechra Veterinary Products (Dechra) during November.

Presented by Grant Petrie MA VetMB CertSAC CertSAM MRCVS, the sessions will focus on the correct diagnosis of hyperadrenocorticism and will be held at the following venues:

Thursday 5th November
Crowne Plaza Hotel, Birmingham, B40 1PS

Tuesday 10th November
Marriot Hotel Metrocentre, Newcastle, NE11 9XF

Wednesday 11th November

Carol Morgan , product manager at Dechra says: “Hyperadrenocorticisim is a common canine endocrinopathy, but one which can present the veterinary professional with a range of diagnostic challenges. Many dogs do not present with the classic clinical signs and test results can be inconclusive, with many other non adrenal disorders mimicking those of hyperadrenocorticism. Our five seminars will address issues surrounding the management of hyperadrenocorticisim and assist you in developing protocols for your practice.”

Each session counts as two and a half hours of CPD. Beginning at 7:30pm, a buffet will be provided with the presentation following at 8pm.
