A session on geriatric orthopaedics at BEVA Congress is being sponsored by Dechra Veterinary Products, as part of its commitment to supporting equine veterinarians.
The company, a recognised leader in equine pain management with an extensive range of licensed products, will also be exhibiting at the event in Birmingham later this month.
The morning session on September 14 will be led by Nicola Jarvis BVetMed MRCVS, who will be speaking to delegates on the subject of geriatric orthopaedics. There will also be presentations on the management of chronic pain in equine osteoarthritis and on the diagnosis and treatment of tendon and ligament injuries in the geriatric horse and pony.
Equine brand manager for Dechra Veterinary Products, Emma Jennings, said: “Equine pain management is one of our key areas of expertise and we have a wide range of products which support the equine vet, including Equipalazone®, HY-50 Vet® and Vetivex®.
“We're looking forward to showing delegates how we can support them in practice, not only through our products, but also through client support material, our online resources and Veteq client leaflets.
“Dechra is also delighted to be sponsoring one of the sessions in the scientific programme once again, demonstrating our commitment to the equine veterinary market.”
