DICOM Images In Original Quality Can Be Stored And Shared In The Cloud

Just at the start of the year, OR Technology introduces the DICOM cloud for medical practitioners. ORCA (OR Technology Cloud Archiving) is a custom cloud solution for storing medical documents, including DICOM images and reports, and sharing them with multiple distribution groups. The images can be viewed with any device with an Internet connection.
“Today’s high data transmission rates make remotely hosted services, ranging from complete collections of servers to simple image backups, increasingly attractive. From now on we offer these capabilities to our partners and customers for use in the medical workplace”, explains Bernd Oehm, Managing Director for Sales and Marketing at OR Technology.
ORCA delivers many advantages to make every day work in equine clinics, universities and private animal practices easier, cheaper and more efficient: Data backup in the cloud is no longer a problem. DICOM images and documents can be provided electronically, based on very high security standards. Therefore the patient CD is no longer needed. If a second opinion report is required, this can be conveniently requested via the ORCA functions.
Images and documents are accessible at any time from all mobile and stationary devices with an Internet connection.
The ORCA cloud offers two exciting applications: ORCA Archive and ORCA Share.
ORCA Share can be tested for free. A simple registration at https://orca.de.com is enough. There is no need to install additional software on your computer or mobile device.
