Facebook Cover Winning Smiles image As part of its mission to celebrate healthy, happy pets, the National Office of Animal Health (NOAH) is launching a search to find the UK’s smiliest pets. The competition runs through NOAH’s www.pethealthinfo.org.uk website which encourages owners to seek expert advice on pet healthcare. Pet owners up and down the country are being encouraged to enter photos of their happy, healthy pets beaming from ear to ear to be in with a chance of being crowned ‘UK’s smiliest pet’. The winner will be treated to a pet photo-shoot from a professional photographer, to capture the winning smile forever. The competition is part of the ongoing NOAH ‘I heart my pet’ campaign 2014 – designed to celebrate the love that UK pet owners feel for their animals and through the www.pethealthinfo.org.uk website, to encourage them to think about the health of their pets and seek independent, expert animal healthcare advice. NOAH Chief Executive, Philip Sketchley comments: “Here at NOAH we’re committed to helping UK pet owners keep their pets as happy and healthy as possible, and helping them find expert advice through www.pethealthinfo.org.uk so we can’t wait to see lots of evidence of the country’s most smiley pets. Whilst the pictures are bound to make us smile too, there is a serious message behind the #iheartmypet campaign. We know how much owners love their pets and the campaign is designed to encourage them to ensure their pet’s healthcare needs are taken care of throughout the year. A range of independent, expert advice from veterinary and pet care professionals for all species can be found on our website, alongside tips and ideas for keeping pets happy and healthy all year round.” To enter, simply visit www.pethealthinfo.org.uk and upload your photo or video along with a paragraph about you and your pet before 7th July 2014 or visit ‘I Heart My Pet’ Facebook page (www.facebook.com/IHeartMyPetUK) for more information. The lucky winner will be announced on 14th July 2014.
