The Dog Photographer of the Year 2009 competition is now open

The Kennel Club is once again running its prestigious Dog Photographer of the Year Competition for 2009 and, has fabulous prizes for you to win! - all that you need is a camera and - of course - a love of dogs!

There are four categories to enter:

Dogs at Work
Dogs at Play
Dog Portrait
Man’s Best Friend

There is also a dedicated (free to enter) category for Under 16s entitled ‘I love dogs because...’

Entry to the competition costs £3.50 per person, with a maximum of four entries per person. Only one photograph may be entered in each category and the same photograph cannot be entered in more than one category. Any profit made will go directly to the Kennel Club Charitable Trust (Registered Charity Number 327802) to help benefit the health and welfare of dogs. Entry into the under 16s category is free of charge.
