The team at East Barnet Veterinary Practice is feeling on top of their game after netting £1000. It’s all thanks to the efforts of veterinary nurses Nicky Flynn and Kerry Tucker who entered the Hill’s Pet Nutrition ‘Putting you on Top’ competition. The prize was awarded for putting together the best waiting room display in support of a Hill’s ‘Putting Your Pet on Top’ national advertising campaign which communicated the benefits of feeding nutritious, premium pet food.
The judges said that the East Barnet entry was chosen as the winner because of the creative use of colourful signage and clever use of scale to draw clients’ attention to their display. Their entry also included some ingenious aspects , including recreating the Hill’s ‘Putting your pet on top’ advertisement creative principle in the practice, which included building a 10-pack high pyramid constructed from Hill’s pet food, topped by a feline and canine volunteer.
Hill’s Associate Marketing Manager, Sara Locke thanks all the entrants for the time they had taken to create their displays, “It’s great to see just how creative people have been in their merchandising and we love the fact that they have so obviously engaged with this high impact consumer campaign.”
At the time of going to press, the practice team at East Barnet was still hotly debating about how best to spend their windfall!2500 views
