Evening CPD On Pyoderma From Animalcare

Numerous surveys indicate that around 25% of a vet’s caseload is likely to be skin related. Canine pyoderma, partly due to its highly variable clinical signs, can be difficult to diagnose and manage in clinical practice. So Animalcare are holding two evenings of CPD covering the subject of canine pyoderma.

The first is at the Management Centre, Stirling University on 15 July 2010. The speaker is Peter Forsythe BVM&S, DVD, MRCVS, who runs The Dermatology Referral Service based in Glasgow, along with Hilary Jackson. He is an RCVS recognised specialist in veterinary dermatology

The second meeting will be on 20th July 2010 at De Vere Daresbury Park Hotel, Chester Road, Daresbury, Warrington. The speaker is Anthony Chadwick BVSc, CertVD, MRCVS, who runs The Skin Vet dermatology referral service in Liverpool with clinics also in Leeds and Manchester. Anthony has spoken nationally and internationally on dermatology.

The talks will cover a “reassessment of the management and treatment of superficial and deep pyoderma” during which the speakers will present thought provoking, practical tips for first opinion practitioners.

The cost is £20 +VAT (£23.50) and a buffet will be provided on arrival from 7 to 8.00pm with the lecture starting at 8.00pm. Attendance will be limited to 35 delegates and CPD Certificates will be issued.

For reservations please email Julie Harrand on jharrand@animalcare.co.uk or call 01904 487455.
