Everything You Need To Know About Ferrets, Including Treatment And Care

Wildpro has a new volume on their Open Access Website, “Ferrets: Health and Management”, which has been developed following on from research carried out by colleges and universities across UK specialising in animal welfare courses.

The research has found that there was a clear need for the resource, which covers all aspects of ferret diseases, veterinary treatment and husbandry. It is expected to be an essential resource for every veterinary practice and for colleges offering animal care courses.

“Ferrets are becoming increasingly popular as family pets and there is also a growth in ferret enthusiasts. This Wildpro volume provides a great ‘one-stop-shop’ for up-to-date ferret information,” said Sharon Redrobe, Life Science Director at Twycross Zoo – East Midland Zoological Society. “As with all our Wildpro volumes, it is closely referenced back to source documents and is now freely available for anyone to access off the Wildpro Website.
