Vets who have a thirst to learn more about how to tackle complicated feline urinary problems, are in for a treat in 2014. Hill’s Pet Nutrition has introduced Prescription Diet® c/d® Urinary Stress – the first clinically proven nutrition for FLUTD with ingredients to help control stress. And to support the new launch there’s an exciting roadshow allowing vets across the UK to hear the views of experts Martha Cannon BA VetMB DSAM(fel), RCVS recognised Specialist in Feline Medicine and Dr Kerry E Simpson BVM&S Cert VC FACVSc PhD MRCVS, RCVS Specialist in Feline Medicine, on this topical subject.
It’s all welcome news for vets, as despite being very familiar with the signs of feline lower urinary tract disease (FLUTD), members of the profession know that the majority of cats have no specific underlying disease that can be identified, making it a challenging and often frustrating condition.
Vets and nurses who want to know more about the new formulation and FLUTD generally, can attend Hill’s FLUTD roadshows in one of four venues across the country including Camberley, Cambridge, Birmingham and London during March 2014. Booking is easy with a new one stop shop CPD website from Hill’s for booking of all of the company’s subsidised and free CPD events during the year at www.hillscpd.co.uk.
The FLUTD event will run from 7.15pm until 10:00pm and includes presentations, interactive sessions and a buffet, all of which counts towards 1.5 hours of CPD. The £25 booking fee will be reimbursed as the equivalent value Hills new Prescription Diet® c/d® Urinary Stress, so that vets can see for themselves the benefits to their feline patients.
As well as the CPD speaker tour, visitors to www.hillscpd.co.uk will find a packed programme of events scheduled to take place throughout 2014.
Places are limited so prospective delegates are advised to book their place at their preferred venue as soon as possible.2296 views
