Feline Advisory Board (FAB) Awards An Easy To Give Award To New Effipro® Pipette

The award follows the launch earlier this year of an enhanced pipette and new packaging for Effipro. It was made on 11 May 2012. Following the redesign, Effipro has been presented in an innovative, clear pipette featuring ‘Drop-lock’ technology which gives precise fingertip control of the flow of liquid with no risk of drip or leakage. Commenting, Claire Bessant, Chief Executive of FAB, said: “Effipro is certainly easy to give and comes in a pipette designed to prevent spillage. Because the chamber is now clear, owners can also check easily whether they have completed the dose. We liked the simple addition of the image of a cat on each pipette which ensures that, if separated from its packaging, it is clear for which animal the product is intended. Giving medication to cats is notoriously difficult and FAB is proud to reward those companies which have invested in easier to give preparations that help ensure cats receive the treatment they need.” Ms Victoria Hudson, Virbac Product Manager, said: “Parasite control is a key revenue generator for practices.
