Finalists Announced In Inaugural Petplan Animal Charity Awards

Petplan, the UK’s largest pet insurer, is pleased to announce the finalists for the brand new 2013 Petplan and Association of Dogs and Cats Homes (ADCH) Animal Charity Awards. In its first ever year, the awards celebrate the outstanding work of animal charities and not-for-profit organisations across the UK. The awards are the brainchild of Petplan, in association with the ADCH, and recognise the hard work, dedication and commitment of charity teams, volunteers and employees.

Simon Masding, Petplan’s head of sales and partnerships added, “Animal wellbeing is central to all we do at Petplan. We work with over 1,500 animal charities and give over £2million to assist them every year. The Petplan and ADCH Animal Charity Awards is another way for us to support and recognise the teams and individuals at charities dedicated to improving the lives of animals. We’re delighted that these new awards have got off to a fantastic start with over 3,400 nominations from adopters, supporters, charity staff and volunteers.”
