New Insights into Antibiotic Usage is the subject of a free CPD webinar for companion animal vets, to be screened on 29th January.
Dr Joseph M Blondeau, head of clinical microbiology at Royal University Hospital and the Saskatoon Health Region, will discuss the latest developments and thinking in antimicrobial use, including the importance of the Mutant Prevention Concentration (MPC).
Lucy Smith MRCVS of Bayer Animal Health says that the webinar is designed to stimulate vets to review their approach when treating bacterial infections, and to help clarify the rationale behind antibiotic selection. “Dr Blondeau is right at the forefront of research which translates into practical solutions for vets. He will outline new concepts in optimising antibiotic therapy and minimising resistance.”
“There will also be the opportunity to send questions to Dr. Blondeau, which will be posted on the site after the event, so we expect a very informative CPD session,” she adds.
The free webinar, New Insights into Antibiotic Usage, is on 29th January at 9pm. To join the webinar simply go to http://animalhealthwebinars.bayer.co.uk9155 views
