Free Live Online CPD For Vets And Managers

Veterinary training and talent agency Workhorse Recruitment, today announced details of their
free live webinar series for vets and practice managers.
The series, which begins immediately after BSAVA Congress 2011, will deliver two live online training events each month. One event will target clinical skills for vets; the other will be aimed at non-clinical skills for vets and managers. The events are
completely free of charge for participants.
Speaking at the launch of the series, managing director Dave Nicol said, "vets have traditionally been quite slow to catch on to new technologies, but we are flocking to online CPD as it is a very convenient and inexpensive way of building up knowledge."
Adding, "The fact that our series is live will also allow those in remote areas or with family commitments the chance to interact with the wider profession while updating their skills."
The Workhorse Webinars – Spring Season, which
begins on the 4th of April 2011, has a very practical flavour with tips and ideas that clinicians and managers can take straight back into their practices and put to good use.
The season features six live events. Highlights include presentations from some of the very best UK speakers available including John Innes (Liverpool University), David Gould (Davies Vet Specialists) and John Sheridan (Veterinary Business Briefing).
Places at each event are limited to 100, so it is recommended that those interested register quickly.
