Veterinary Surgeon, Sarah Ramsey from Goddard veterinary practice, based on Kings Road in Fulham, has won an all-expenses-paid trip to Royal Canin’s International Scientific Meeting at the manufacturer’s head office in Aimargues, South of France. Sarah won her place after taking part in Royal Canin’s online CPD webinar dedicated to small animal dermatology last year. The two day, invitation-only event, which takes place on the 13th and 14th March, is being attended by veterinary professionals from across the world, who will come together to learn about Royal Canin’s progress in developing new diets which aid the management of the pruritic dog. The event will include a variety of workshops and seminars, including one on customer management for vets, from history taking right through to long term management of dermatological conditions. The scientific meeting will also feature presentations from Royal Canin’s CEO, Jean-Christophe Flatin and members of Royal Canin’s Scientific Support Team – before culminating in a gala dinner. Along with other guests, Sarah will also receive a tour of the scientific research and development facilities on the campus. Sarah commented: “I am really looking forward to having the chance to share knowledge, experiences and best practice with vets and veterinary scientists from across the globe.”
