How Many People Does It Take To Change A Light Bulb?

Author: VRCC
Posted: Tuesday 14th June, 2011. 18:00:30

At VRCC the Essex based Referral Centre it took 3 men 6 days to change their 561 fluorescent light tubes over to LED's. Not only will staff and patients benefit from superior lighting, the LED's generate significantly less heat so the A/C can be turned down.

Plus, it will save VRCC over £7,000 a year in electricity costs recouping the £18,000 investment in less than 3 years or significantly less time if energy prices continue to rise.

VRCC will receive support for this energy saving project from both the Carbon Trust and the Thames Gateway South Essex Low Carbon Business Programme.
