A veterinary practice’s greatest asset is its client base – but what are you doing to recruit, reward and retain your clients? As part of its initiative in practice support, Royal Canin has launched a series of one day management modules focused on client care. A session entitled ‘Module One: Client Retention’ will be held on Wednesday 5 December at The Stirling Highland Hotel in Stirling, Scotland. The programme is highly practical and aims to help practices critically assess their retention skills, realise the gaps in their customer service and then formulate an action plan to ensure their clients’ on-going loyalty. Veterinary Support Manager, Lee Danks MRCVS, explained: “The course includes three interactive tasks, making the day genuinely useful for practices. We want delegates to come willing to work, not just to listen so that they’ll leave with some tangible ‘things-to-do’ on returning to practice. One activity centres around gaining client feedback: we collect opinions directly from owners and use this as a basis for discussion.” Lee added: “Royal Canin is obviously renowned for its nutritional expertise but we’d like to make practices aware that our support extends beyond just products. We are creating highly tailored and practical learning opportunities which appeal to busy UK vet practices.” The one day management module costs £99 – covering the attendance of two delegates per practice. Interested practice owners and managers can register by emailing [email protected] or by calling 07525 299 204. Note that places are selected to avoid direct competitors being in attendance and numbers are strictly limited to ensure the optimum level of interaction.
