Anna, who has been with the company less than a year, was nominated for the prize for a range of marketing activities, among them the launch of three new products including the veterinary joint nutraceutical YUMOVE Cat. Nominating Anna for the award, which is open to marketing personnel under the age of 30 across the entire animal health sector, co-founder of Lintbells and Marketing Director Dr John Howie said: “I believe Anna has the potential to develop extensively to become one of the leading marketeers in the industry. She has moved into an environment where she has had to manage every aspect of the marketing mix in numerous channels, many of which Anna has not worked in before. “She has been very quick to learn and adapt to the intricacies of each market, managing numerous campaigns in parallel and yet has excelled in each.” Anna (29) wins a £2,000 bursary for further training and development purposes, sponsored by British Dairying. She said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to have won this award, especially as I was nominated after just seven months at Lintbells. I look forward to using the bursary to increase my marketing knowledge, to allow me to really put the company on the map.” As well as working on a range of new products Anna was also involved in the development of the Lintbells Nutritional Health Academy, a series of CPD courses for veterinary nurses, with some of the inaugural events being oversubscribed. She joined Lintbells from a marketing role with Royal Canin. Royal Canin’s Veterinary Support Manager Lee Danks said: “I've never known anyone to be so driven, conscientious and considerate of others in her work as Anna.  She left some strong legacies here at Royal Canin and I can't imagine a more deserving award-winner.  I look forward to seeing Anna reach greater and greater heights in our industry over the coming years.” This is the second major award for Lintbells in a matter of months after the company, which is going from strength to strength, was also named Small Business of the Year at the 2012 Hertfordshire Business Awards.
