The company behind the UK’s fastest growing joint supplement YUMOVE is to launch a veterinary exclusive version at the London Vet Show this month.
Lintbells has improved the formulation of YUMOVE, which has been one of the natural supplements firm’s best sellers since its launch just four years ago. YUMOVE Advance for Dogs has been specifically developed to aid the natural anti-inflammatory process, support joint function and promote mobility.
YUMOVE is currently undergoing rigorous clinical evaluation by the Royal Veterinary College in a trial using state of the art activity monitors to determine the effect in dogs with Osteoarthritis.
Lintbells’ Marketing Director John Howie said: “We’re very excited about YUMOVE Advance which will only be available to veterinary practices who can then confidently put patients on it, knowing that it is highly palatable, easy to use and affordable. Not only that, but results are visible in just a matter of weeks.
“Original YUMOVE was the first product of its kind to address the needs of joint structure, mobility and comfort and was an instant success with the owners of older dogs or those needing a little help with mobility. It combines the proven ingredients of a unique and highly effective Green Lipped Mussel, Hyaluronic acid and Manganese as well as Glucosamine HCI and critical vitamins and minerals to meet the needs of all dogs. This product has been so successful that we subsequently developed specific versions of YUMOVE to meet the needs of very active dogs and another for cats. YUMOVE Advance was a natural progression as vets and vet nurses see so many senior patients day to day, enabling them to provide the correct advice to their clients.”
The new veterinary formula is an improvement on YUMOVE with 20% more Green Lipped Mussel to provide even higher levels of the unique Omega 3 essential fatty acids to aid the natural anti-inflammatory process, 66% more Hyaluronic acid to aid synovial fluid function further and added Beta glucans to support gut function and absorption. It has added N-acetyl-D-glucosamine, the building block of Chondroitin, to further support the glycosaminoglycan pathway to maintain healthy joint structure and function.
