Merger Brings A Complete Approach To Veterinary Performance Management

Veterinary employment agency Workhorse Recruitment has been acquired by Totem Consulting Ltd, a specialist HR and performance management company.

The new business will offer a complete performance management solution to the veterinary sector aiding in the planning, recruitment and ongoing management of staff to help improve business performance.

Commenting on the acquisition, Totem Consulting Director Helen Frewin said “Through our ongoing work with Workhorse Recruitment it was clear that in the difficult business environment we find ourselves, veterinary clinics don’t just want to find good people, they desperately want to know how to retain them and manage them more effectively”

“That’s Totem’s key strength and what we’ve been doing for other sectors for some time, so it made sense to bring the recruitment expertise and network contacts of Workhorse Recruitment under a broader umbrella of performance management.”

Workhorse Recruitment’s managing director Dave Nicol was equally positive about the merger adding,
