Merial is pleased to announce the winners of its Apple iPad competition, which took place at the BEVA Congress from 8th - 11th September 2010.

The two winners drawn that correctly answered questions on Merial’s innovative new equine NSAID EQUIOXX® were Kate Thompson from Hird and Partners in Halifax and Mark Vale from Towcester Vet Centre, Northants. These two lucky winners each won a state-of-the-art Apple iPad.

Mark described the prize as “quite incredible,” and is gradually getting to grips with the hi-tech gadget. “At the moment it is more of a toy,” he explains, “but I can see how it could be useful for work too.” Mark’s knowledge of EQUIOXX clearly stood out to win him the prize and he is now looking to use the product in his equine practice in the future.

EQUIOXX is highly COX-2 selective and is available as either a low dose injectable solution or a palatable oral paste.
