Merial ’s Online Training Now Worth 24 AMTRA CPD Points

New for this CPD period, Merial Animal Health’s comprehensive equine parasitology training programme is now worth 24 points instead of 15. This means that to gain almost half of your E-SQP points all you have to do is successfully complete the course online.

“Equine Parasites and Their Control” was devised and written by Ridgeway Science in conjunction with EQVALAN® wormer manufacturer Merial Animal Health. The eight module distance learning programme contains essential advice on the key aspects of parasitology, and SQPs and VNs completing the AMTRA accredited course online can claim 24 CPD points towards their total.

EQVALAN® Product Manager Claire Edmunds explains: “Our online course has been reaccredited to be worth 24 points, a reflection on the depth and breadth the CPD content. Each module is designed to provide achievable goals during each study period, which should take no longer than 60 minutes. At the end of each module there is a quiz enabling you to qualify for the CPD points and upon passing all quiz modules you will receive 24 points, which is almost half of your E-SQP CPD total. In addition for completion each SQP will be able to download a certificate to display in store or in practice.”
