Merial’s New Promotion Offers Free Weigh Tapes

Following the success of the free worm egg count promotions of recent years, Merial Animal Health is offering a brand new promotion for this autumn worming season. Retailers that purchase 40 tubes of EQVALAN® Duo (ivermectin + praziquantel) in September and October will receive weigh tapes free of charge, while stocks last.

EQVALAN® Product Manager Claire Edmunds explains: “Our autumn campaign will provide participating retailers with another opportunity to add value whilst encouraging loyalty from customers. The free weigh tapes will help retailers to continue promoting the message of SMART worming and encourage horse owners to Simply Monitor, Assess Risk and, if necessary, Treat with the most appropriate wormer. Accurate dosing is vital to ensure wormers are used in the most effective and efficient way and knowing the horse’s weight is integral to this.”

Alongside this offer, for every order of 20 EQVALAN® Duo (ivermectin + praziquantel) participating retailers will receive four tubes free of charge.
