New App For Android And IPhone: Planning Pegasus – A Social Calendar To Simplify The Everyday Equestrian Life

Planning Pegasus is a mobile app and can be used as a link between a physical calendar and the whiteboard of the stable with a chatfunction. Planning Pegasus is a social calendar to simplify your everyday equestrian life by providing plan, share and chat functions. Plan, share and chat The calendar works like a normal calendar with the difference that one can add a horse to every event. There are fields to fill in all the necessary information about one horse such as vaccination, veterinary and farrier visits. To share a horse or a place, with another Planning Pegasus user, makes the shared horse/place visible in your own calendar. If you also want to use the calendar as a diary this is possible since everything saves with a backup from the database. The chat function, makes it easier to communicate without the expenses for text messaging. Save time, ease the communication The idea itself for Planning Pegasus was created by the Swede Linn Erixon Sahlström who, during a long time, have missed a link between the traditional agenda and the whiteboard in the stable, into the mobile phone. – For most of us the usual communication flow is managed by some sort of whiteboard or a note board or via text messages. I have during a long time been missing that quick and efficient way of getting hold of new or changed information concerning my horse and the stable. The goal is to save precious time. An example is; what the horse should wear, what the horse should eat that very day or some do’s and don’ts without going to the stable in person. Time is something we all have equal of, but not enough, especially us horse people, says Linn Erixon Sahlström. The mobile and the future Planning Pegasus is constructed with a great developing potential and behind the technical solution is the company Lunicore Student Konsult AB, from the University of Lund in Sweden. The design of the app is created by the Art Director Kajsa Bergergård Bartosch. – We are moving towards more mobile use in the everyday life where pure functionality becomes more important than just being entertained. My vision is to lead the horse world into a more digitilized world and to combine the useful functions with some entertainment in a smart and stylish way. There is plenty of room for more smart and fun functions in the Planning Pegasus app, something that we are already looking into for a future developement, Linn Erixon Sahlström says.
