Three new webcasts focusing on otitis externa are available from Dechra Veterinary Products following its sponsorship of VetsNorth 2012.
The company, which also sponsored a series of dermatology lectures at the event, has released the webcasts for veterinary professionals at its online learning resource, The Dechra Academy.
Dechra showcased its Time to Change campaign at VetsNorth, which aims to support vets and vet nurses through a holistic best practice approach to managing ear disease.
Dechra Veterinary Products Senior brand Manager Larry King said: “We received a great deal of interest at VetsNorth from delegates looking for information on the Time to Change campaign.
“The cat and dog ear cleaner selector charts proved extremely popular and we're delighted we were able to provide practical support to visitors. We also offered access to information on using cytology to identify organisms causing infection, as well as guidance on how vets and vet nurses can educate clients on how to apply and use products correctly.”
Dechra Veterinary Products sponsored lectures by Referral Dermatologist Sue Paterson MA, VetMB, DVD, DipECVD, MRCVS, RCVS and European Specialist in Veterinary Dermatology, who has also created the three new webcasts.
Mr King added: “Anyone who missed the lectures at VetsNorth can visit The Dechra Academy for webcasts from Sue Paterson about the underlying causes of ear disease and the best practice in diagnosis, control and maintenance of these causes.”
The webcasts, Primary Triggers of Otitis Externa, Gold Stand Case Management of Otitis Externa and Ear Cleaning – What, Why, When and How, can be accessed at www.dechra.co.uk/academy where ear cleaner selector charts are also available for download.
