Online veterinary clinical resource specialist Vetstream has made a number of appointments to strengthen its team following its appointment as a Global Educational and Communications Partner of the World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) and to support growth across its range of digital content services for veterinary organisations and businesses.

In the first appointment, Miss Ashleigh Wood has joined Vetstream as Editorial and Marketing Assistant. She will be working on a range of digital projects for the WSAVA, including the creation of its new website which will be launched later this year. She is also supporting the development of Vetlexcion’s new Bovis (cattle) and Exotis (exotics) digital point-of-care resources.  Vetlexicon is the world's largest online clinical veterinary reference tool and already offers comprehensive, peer-reviewed digital point-of-care information on the veterinary treatment of dogs (Canis), cats (Felis), rabbits (Lapis) and horses (Equis), together with Practis, which provides advice on all aspects of practice management with information contributed by more than 100 experts.

In the second appointment, Miss Amy McPhail has joined Vetstream Webpartner as an Account Manager.  In this role, she will be responsible for marketing Webpartner’s newly enhanced suite of website design services for veterinary practices and veterinary business in the UK.

Miss Zoe Colegate has joined Vetstream to provide first line technical support to its global customer base and to assist with website production and maintenance.  Finally, Miss Danielle Payne has been appointed as Marketing Assistant with responsibility for developing the marketing and communications strategy for Vetstream’s rapidly growing portfolio of digital content services.

Dr Mark Johnston, Managing Director of Vetstream, said: “As a Global Educational Partner – and now Communications Partner – of the WSAVA, we have a number of important and time-critical projects underway for the association, including a new optimised and multi-language website to enable the association to communicate more effectively with its 101 member associations and more than 200,000 individual veterinarian members around the world.

“We are also experiencing rapid growth and development within the suite of digital services we offer to the wider veterinary profession and to veterinary businesses.  Strengthening our team will help us to capitalise on the opportunities ahead and we are delighted to welcome them all.”
