By popular demand, a new series of CPD seminars on canine behavior and communication are released today. VetPro CPD seminars provide education for veterinary professionals in canine behaviour and body language, to assist with their canine clients. With 10 years experience presenting to organisations and individuals worldwide in his entertaining and insightful style, Jez Rose is a canine behavior specialist and the UK training and behaviour specialist for the KONG Company.  In his latest seminar series he explains how to prevent perfectly predictable and preventable behaviour and temperament problems - especially anxiety, fear, aggression and hyperactivity: significant "terminal illnesses" for dogs. Behaviour and veterinary professionals know that behaviour problems occasionally lead to injury, re-homing or euthanasia, and that temperament problems waste valuable time and money. However, Jez believes that veterinary professionals are the key to preventing what the PDSA Wellbeing Report 2011 describe as a “behaviour meltdown”. During the seminars he will discuss the unbelievable ease of aggression prevention and offer insight into how to effectively predict what your canine clients are telling you - and their owners - and how best to communicate with them so as to avoid the most common behaviour and temperament problems seen in practice. Chris Tufnell, Director of Coach House Vets in Berkshire and committee member of the RCVS, says: "These seminars are a great learning opportunity, as well as very informative and engaging.  A professional behaviourist giving an educated insight into canine behaviour and how to effectively manage it in veterinary practice is a great topic." The seminars are an excellent example of Jez’s commitment to providing comprehensive information to vets and vet nurses, vital to ensuring a positive future for all dogs and greatly enhancing the services they already offer. This partnership between behaviour specialist and veterinary professionals takes us into a new and exciting era of veterinary education. Sponsored by Petlife International, the sole UK distributor of Thundershirt, the seminars are taking place in Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Surrey during September and October.  Each attendee will receive a certificate, licence-free resources with space for personalisation for use in their practice; a free KONG product of their choice; a discount voucher for Thundershirt, refreshments and buffet, for the nominal investment of £45. Seminar dates Thursday 29th September 1700 – 2100 UK Wolf Conservation Trust, Beenham, Berkshire Saturday 15th October 100 – 1400 University of Buckingham, Buckinghamshire Monday 10th October 1000 – 1400 University of Surrey, Guildford For further information and to book online, visit www.jezrose.co.uk/vetpro-seminars.html
