Want to learn how to avoid tracheal and laryngeal trauma and laryngeal spasms during dentistry?
Docsinnovent have launched a v-gel® rabbit dentistry educational training module at London Vet Show 2014. The short four minute video shown in the self-training area on the stand, showed how to obtain a safer anaesthesia airway using the v-gel® supraglottic airway device in rabbit dentistry procedures. This module joins the cat dental module which was recently launched at SEVC in Barcelona.

v-gel®’s are not inserted into the trachea so there is no possibility of trauma as with traditional endotracheal tubes. I think these should be and possibly will be elevated to the standard of care in feline veterinary medicine.
