The BSAVA Awards allow us to acknowledge those colleagues who we consider to have gone above and beyond the call of duty, often going that extra mile for little or no reward.
Each year the BSAVA presents awards in recognition of the contributions made by individuals working in the field of small animal medicine and surgery at a special event during the annual Congress in Birmingham.
In most cases, nominations come from BSAVA members, or from within the profession at large. So nominate someone today so that effort that too often goes on unacknowledged can be rewarded.
You can nominate in one or more of the categories online at www.bsava.com or for more information about nominating for 2012 email [email protected]. The deadline for nominations is 11 November. Previous recipients can be found online (About Us – Association Awards).
As well as the nominated awards there is also the opportunity for individuals to apply for the BSAVA Frank Beattie Travel Scholarship. The scholarship, worth £4000 this year, is to help a BSAVA member to undertake a trip abroad to study a particular aspect of veterinary practice. You can apply for this online too, or email for details.
