Norbrook, one of the UK's leading veterinary pharmaceutical companies, has launched the latest version of its highly successful free iphone app, approved by Apple with new features to make life easier for veterinary practitioners.
The Norbook Veterinary Excellence Tool now includes an interactive dosing calculator which will significantly help with the administration and compliance of Norbrook’s products by calculating and assessing the correct dosage at the touch of a button.
Norbrook’s veterinary advisor Barry McInerney MVB, MRCVS, PhD said, "The Norbrook app is part of our on-going commitment to provide practical support to vets in practice. The update to the app will not only make it easier for vets to contact their local Territory Manager but the dose calculator will allow rapid calculation of the single dose for an individual animal of Norbrook’s numerous products."
The Norbrook Veterinary Excellence Tool incorporates information on the company’s full range of animal health medicines including pharmaceutical presentation, uses, dosage and administration, withdrawal periods, contraindications and warnings, and pharmaceutical precautions.
The app also has a facility which will keep users up-to-date with relevant industry and company news and a dedicated contact section which will provide customers with additional communication channels to contact the company. It is now even easier to get in touch with your local vet or trade rep thanks to geo-targeting functionality.
The Norbrook VET iPhone app is free to download direct from the iTunes store now.2739 views
