Print outs from photobooth On the 13th of July students from the Nottingham Vet School attended their graduation celebrations which were sponsored by Vets4Pets. The celebrations began in the Vet School atrium with a champagne reception followed by an evening of awards, dining and of course dancing at the Radisson Blu hotel. After months of organising by the students the event was a great success. The evening’s award ceremony was the highlight of the event, and included awards for ‘The Best End of Rotation Cakes throughout the Year’ won by Lara Gosling, ‘Student of the Year’ won by Kate Heller and ‘Staff Member of the Year’ won by Gayle Hallowell. Also recognised was Nick Jackson who won the award for ‘Unsung Hero’. Malcolm Norman, Partner Relationship Manager Vets4Pets commented “Special congratulations to Nick Jackson who won the award for ‘Unsung Hero’. Nick recently completed his BEMS with us and I have to say this was a perfect award for Nick, who was very much liked at the office and really did get stuck in to his projects.” The award ceremony was followed by a more relaxed evening featuring the obligatory photo booth, also sponsored by Vets4Pets. Mary Davis of the Graduation Ball committee member commented; “The graduation ball gave us all an opportunity to say some thank yous, some fond farewells and to party the night away with close friends we have formed over the last 5 years; the Nottingham Graduands, partners, staff and clinical associates. Thank you to our generous sponsors which enabled us to produce a night we will cherish forever”. Peter Watson, CEO of Vets4Pets commented; “I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate and wish all of the Nottingham Vet School graduates, and of course all those who have recently graduated from various vet schools, the best of luck in their veterinary careers. We’ve been working with the Nottingham Vet School for a while now, sponsoring events, holding talks and welcoming BEMS students to our head office in Nottingham and we look forward to continuing our relationship, support of the school and welcoming the new students. ”
