Online CPD is probably the most cost-effective and convenient way for vets to make sure that they are keeping their knowledge up to date. Whilst fantastic for theory, online CPD is traditionally not always so great for helping vets develop their hands-on practical skills. Until now that is. Leading veterinary CPD providers – CPD Solutions – are bringing a full day of interactive online imaging CPD directly to the homes and practices of vets all over the country on the 6th June. There is also a Super Early Bird reduced rate available for those who pre-register now at www.veterinarywebinars.com/info/online-imaging-conference-2013. Offering eight hours of quality CPD to vets and allowing ultimate flexibility the course features several live sessions across the day. Delegates can attend and get involved directly in as few or as many sessions as they want to or are able to. All sessions are recorded and come with course notes that will be available for download to everyone who has registered. Both individual and practice registrations are available. Presented by leaders in small animal imaging, Mark Patteson, Esther Barrett and Paddy Mannion, the day will use real life practice scenarios to get across the key points. Topics that will be covered include cardiac and abdominal ultrasound (with video streaming), film reading - including how to determine artefacts - and when CT and MRI are indicated. The fantastic content and opportunity for delegates to ask as many questions as they like makes this course as beneficial as many imaging attendance courses for bettering the practical skills of vets but without the hassle of rota changes and travel. CPD Solutions Director, Susie Coughlan says “This course is the first of its kind to offer a full day of interactive online CPD, which we are really excited about. Being so accessible and covering a topic that is a daily part of a small animal vet’s working life, we hope it will be of huge benefit to vets in dramatically improving their skills and knowledge.” Free pre-registration now is the only way that vets can make sure that they are eligible for the Super Early Bird rate that offers a fantastic saving of £100 for individual registration and £250 for practice registration. Standard rates are £297 (individual reg.) and £647 (practice reg. – up to three vets). Pre-registration does not mean any obligation to book a place once they become available though, so even if vets aren’t sure whether they are able to participate, they have nothing to lose and everything to gain by signing up at www.veterinarywebinars.com/info/online-imaging-conference-2013.
