Rick LeCouteur To Speak At The London Vet Show - 22nd And 23rd October

Rick LeCouteur mugshotThe London Vet Show, held in London Olympia’s National Hall on 22nd and 23rd October, is delighted to announce that Rick LeCouteur from the University of California will be the 2010 leading international speaker focusing on Neurosurgery in small animal veterinary practices. Ric LeCouteur. BVSc, PhD, DACVIM, (Neurology), DECVN Rick LeCouteur’s research interests include brain tumours and neuromuscular disease with over thirty years experience in small animal neurosurgery working across Australia, America and Europe. Topics for 2010 include neuro exams, the use and misuse of glucocorticoids. “We are excited to be working with Rick LeCouteur” says Rob Chapman, London Vet Show Event Manager. “We have incorporated content that our delegates suggested they would like covered to make sure that our programme is relevant to the everyday needs of the general practice Vet. Our feedback about the content has been really positive and our research has highlighted Rick’s popularity as a key speaker on the subject of what to do when Phenobarbitone fails”. 2010 will see AN ADDITIONAL THIRD clinical lecture stream meaning that the quantity and quality of speakers at this year’s London Vet Show is even better than last year and includes speakers such as Alexi German, Susan North, Danielle Gunn-Moore, Simon Girling and David Church to name but a few. The very popular business lecture theatre will also be running again with speakers such as Alison Lambert of Onswitch Ltd., Mark Johnson of Vetstream and Alan Robinson of Vet Focus. The London Vet Show (LVS), organised by Closerstill Media Healthcare Ltd, was launched in 2009. Attracting 1,977 delegates and over 100 exhibitors in its first year the show attributes its success to the conference programme which is to be once again written by the Royal Veterinary College delivering first class certifiable content with leading speakers from around the world. The success of the inaugural event can be seen in the growth of both delegate and exhibitor bookings. With over 200 exhibitors and 1800 delegates already booked into the show with over 2 months to go The London Vet Show 2010 is set to even bigger and better.
