ROYAL CANIN Hosts International Student Ambassador Event
Seven ROYAL CANIN Vet Student Ambassadors recently joined 40 veterinary students from 15 other countries in an ambitious meeting at the pet food manufacturer’s campus in Aimargues, France.
Students were given the opportunity to explore advances in cat and dog nutritional science and their application in ROYAL CANIN’s diets. The meeting provided an opportunity to meet experts in R&D, network with other students, share ‘best practice’ and develop their communication and teamwork skills throughout two days of activities.
Charlotte Gresham, the RVC’s outgoing Student Ambassador said: “I enjoyed such a wonderful couple of days in the South of France with my fellow ROYAL CANIN Ambassadors! Not only did I meet so many great people from across the world, but I came away feeling inspired. I am excited for the coming year to see some of the ideas we discussed fall into place.”
Lee Danks MRCVS, Veterinary Scientific Support Manager for ROYAL CANIN, said: “The ROYAL CANIN Student Ambassadors programme has been running since 2004 and allows us to better support vet students across the UK and Ireland.
“The event enabled students from across the world to further learn about the science behind our diets, enhance their skills and share their passion for cat and dog nutrition, all with a healthy dose of fun and socialisation!”
