Is your practice team united in their approach to clients? Are you confident in converting your knowledge into a strong recommendation and then (the big hurdle!) initiating action in your clients? To ensure the answer is yes, Royal Canin is hosting a two-day workshop, as part of its practice support initiative, entitled ‘Concordance and Compliance – Beyond the Consultation Room.’ The event, which will run on Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th March this year, will focus on the shared decision making process between practice team and client, as well as the ingredients contributing toward client follow-through on veterinary advice. The workshop will be held at The Oxford Belfry in Milton Common near Thame in Oxfordshire and promises to lead to higher levels of staff commitment, better behaved and happier clients, healthier patients and improved profits. Veterinary Support Manager, Lee Danks MRCVS, explained: “All veterinary staff should possess the core skills of concordance and compliance as these will lead to positive changes in our patients. This workshop will examine how to measure concordance and compliance; how to inspire action in the client; and how a united team approach will ensure the best results. We will also discuss what best practice looks like, ensuring delegates return to practice with a firm action plan.” The event will feature presentations from a number of leading veterinary professionals, including business consultant Geoff Little MVB MRCVS, consultation skills coach Brian Faulkner MRCVS and marketing expert Nicki Glen VN MCIM. Lee added: “Royal Canin is obviously renowned for its nutritional expertise but we’d like to make practices aware that our support extends beyond just products. We are creating highly tailored and practical learning opportunities which appeal to busy UK vet practices.” The two day management workshop costs £250 (including VAT) – covering all accommodation as well as the CPD itself. Places are limited and can be booked by calling 01963 353047 or emailing [email protected].
