Speakers Confirmed For VPMA Congress

Speakers have now been confirmed for VPMA congress. The event has a packed agenda on offer, with renowned speakers providing top quality CPD. Key Note Speaker Mark EvansMark Evans is a vet, international author, TV presenter and producer who has been involved in hundreds of programmes. Currently, he is Chief Veterinary Adviser at the RSPCA and Head of its Companion Animals Department. He also continues to work as a freelance broadcaster, most recently fronting Channel 4’s BAFTA award winning natural history series “Inside Nature’s Giants”. As an accomplished amateur engineer he has tackled some awe-inspiring projects, which include building a helicopter. With another ten engineering programmes under his belt, Mark has an enviable reputation with petrolheads as well as animal lovers. With his passion to make science interesting to all, a good helping of common sense and a dollop of enthusiasm, Mark’s talk is a sure fire recipe for a fascinating opener to congress. Marketing Stream Tim PuddleAfter graduating from university with a first-class honours degree in Business Studies (Accounting and Finance) Tim Puddle worked as a sales and marketing manager with the ‘university of marketing’ - Procter and Gamble. He left Procter and Gamble after 7 years to broaden his experience and worked for two management consultancies before establishing his own business in 1993. A Managing Director of SMart In Corporates Ltd, Tim has advised blue-chip clients such as Kraft Foods, Unilever, Tesco, BP and Hilton Hotels. Tim has also worked with well known veterinary brands such as Hill’s Pet Nutrition and Intervet/Schering-Plough UK. This experience led him to establish In Practice Consultancy (IPC) as a business designed specifically to provide advice to veterinary practices. She describes her style as challenging, innovative and flexible. On the first day of congress Anne-Marie will describe strategies and techniques that can be used to help individuals fulfill their potential and achieve their goals.
