SPILLERS® Appoint Competition Nutritionist For The North Of England

SPILLERS® have appointed Alexandra Ashley as their new competition nutritionist for the north of England, dedicated to providing specialist nutrition advice and support for competition yards of every discipline. An accomplished show jumper with a degree in nutrition, Alexandra complements and enhances the strong technical and practical experience of the SPILLERS® advisory team.

Based in Willoughby on the Wold in Leicestershire, Alexandra will be responsible for the north of England from Leicestershire up to Scotland. She holds a degree in nutrition from Nottingham University and this is her first full time position since graduating in 2010.
Alexandra has extensive knowledge of all aspects of equestrianism having been immersed riding and caring for horses and ponies since she was very small. For the past ten years she has been competing with British Showjumping up to Foxhunters level and is currently jumping two horses that she has produced herself; Pageant’s Diamond Girl, a four-year-old Irish Sport Horse that she has recently qualified for the British Novice and Discovery Regional Finals and Springalong Bracken, a seven-year-old Warmblood mare.
Alexandra said: “I am absolutely thrilled with my new appointment. My ambition was a role combining my passion for horses with my knowledge of nutrition and working for SPILLERS® is my absolute ideal.”
