SPVS VPMA Focus On Technology Day - 19 June 2014

Thursday 19th June 2014, Staverton Park Daventry ‘Delegates were all decision makers or influential people in the decision making process’. ‘Great organisation with a personal touch.... we were made to feel part of the event rather than just there to exhibit’. ‘All Leads were quality leads...... a great way to do business!’ The feedback from our exhibitors to SPVS/VPMA Technology Day 2013 was extremely positive as you can see. You all said you’d like us to repeat it in 2014, so here it is! We have increased our marketing budget for 2014 and will take an insert OR front page wrap with the Veterinary Times. We will also have a special ‘Focus on Technology’ feature in Practice Life, the SPVS/VPMA combined magazine which will promote the event. Alongside the providers of Practice Management Systems will be a range of technology for the veterinary profession, from bespoke software providers, web designers and online shopping, to computer hardware and telephone systems. For delegates this will be a great opportunity to view what is available, network with other vets and suppliers and attend a range of technology focused workshops. For suppliers it is an essential ‘meet the buyers’ day which will bring you in front of very focused practice owners and managers. Tea, coffee and lunch will be served in the exhibition space. There will be workshops running throughout the day in adjacent seminar rooms and, as last year, time will be built into each delegate's personalised programme for browsing the stands. This will ensure a steady stream of people and a constant buzz in the exhibition. Exhibitors are invited to offer their ideas for workshops on the understanding that we will have editorial control over which we run and we may ask one or more exhibitors to work together to co-host a seminar. Workshops will be generic and offer useful practical tips rather than sales pitches for a particular product or service. For 2014, we intend to bring in more outside ‘guest’ speakers. We will also be looking for innovative ideas to make exhibition stands interactive and will promote this to delegates in our marketing materials. The day will start at 9:30am and finish at 5:00pm.
