VetCell, the UK’s leading equine stem cell therapy provider, are running their next one day CPD training course with Professor Roger Smith on 14th November 2012 at the Weipers Equine Centre Hospital, University of Glasgow. Recent research on VetCell-treated horses has shown that those treated within one month of injury have a significantly lower chance of re-injury than those treated after a longer period and a significant dose response has also been shown. Peer-reviewed, published research by Professor Smith has also shown that the chance of re-injury is significantly lower after stem cell therapy than with conventional treatments.
The training course is for equine vets, nurses and physios and counts for 7 hours of CPD time. The last time VetCell ran this course it was at the RVC and 95% of the responses on the feedback forms were ‘Excellent’ – the highest rating an RVC course has ever achieved!
Both the bone marrow aspiration and the stem cell implantation will be demonstrated and attendees will be given the chance to practice the techniques. The course costs £195 per person plus VAT but this fee will be refunded on your first stem cell procedure!
