Think Rabbit! logo Throughout the month of May, Supreme Petfoods is once again encouraging vet practices to hop to it and ‘Think Rabbit’! Following the success of last year’s campaign, Supreme has extended the campaign from two weeks to a whole month with the aim of helping even more UK vet practices engage with their existing rabbit owning clients, as well as attract new ones. Think Rabbit was developed by Supreme following increased requests from vets for information and support to help them develop their small pets business. Over 500 UK vet practices benefitted from taking part in the campaign last year and many used it as an opportunity to raise awareness about their rabbit healthcare services, such as vaccination programmes and dental checks. Some practices even ran big ‘bunny events’ with huge success. Ark Veterinary Surgery in Cheshire says “We now have a permanent rabbit representative in each of our branch practices to encourage people to ‘Think Rabbit’. We would like to say a huge thank you to Supreme for organising this campaign”. RCVS specialist exotics vet, Molly Varga, is a big supporter of the campaign; “I want to encourage all small animal vets to take part - Think Rabbit is a great way to raise awareness about key rabbit healthcare messages by showing rabbit owning clients that their practice takes rabbit health and welfare seriously.” Participating practices will receive goodie bags to give out to clients, a Think Rabbit e-manual and loads of other information and resources to make themselves totally rabbit friendly, including the opportunity to sign and display the Think Rabbit ‘Small Furry Promise’. Taking part in Think Rabbit month also means practices will get the chance to sign up to the incredibly successful ‘Happy Hoppers Club’ – the innovative scheme that brings vets and pet owners together. Claire Hamblion, Marketing Manager at Supreme hopes to build on the success of last year and once again really encourage practices to focus on how they can develop protocols and routines that will remove barriers to rabbit owners seeking healthcare advice and presenting their pet for treatment. Letters and registration faxback forms for free registration will be sent out to practices in the next few weeks. If that is just too long to wait though, vets can sign up now at www.supremepetfoods.com/thinkrabbit. Alternatively, or to just find out more about Think Rabbit, email [email protected] or telephone 01284 761107. There is no need to complete the faxback form if registration has been completed online or by e-mail/phone.
