The Rabbit Sessions seminars will be freely available to all LVS delegates and will see experts from across the globe cover a host of hot medical and surgical rabbit topics, as well as provide cutting edge answers to the audience’s rabbit-related questions. Staying in the know when it comes to rabbits is often far from simple, with reliable and up to date information less widely available than for cats and dogs. This is why Supreme is especially pleased to be able to put rabbit health and welfare firmly in the spotlight – just where the pet food company believes it belongs. Claire Hamblion, Marketing Manager at Supreme, isn’t surprised that last year’s seminar series was such a success, “The enthusiasm from delegates and speakers was really inspiring and was especially evident during the interactive sessions. We were thrilled to see the lecture theatres bursting at the seams with rabbit aficionados and after receiving such positive feedback, we’re excited to be able to extend the learning opportunity to even more delegates this year with a similarly action-packed agenda and an even bigger seminar suite.” Current concepts in rabbit anaesthesia, senior rabbit care, respiratory disorders and essential endoscopy techniques are among the topics to be covered. The interactive discussions at the end of each session provide a rare opportunity for the audience to have their questions answered by rabbit specialists as well as share the experiences of other professionals and debate common dilemmas. Speakers include Charly Pignon, DVM Head of the Exotics Medicine Service at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vétérinaire d'Alfort in France; Molly Varga, BVetMed DZooMed MRCVS,RCVS Specialist in Zoo and Wildlife Medicine; Joanna Hedley, BVM&S DZooMed (Reptilian) MRCVS, Lecturer in Exotic Species and Small Mammal Medicine and Surgery at Royal Veterinary College and Paolo Selleri, DMV, PhD, SpecPACS, DipECZM, Director at a specialist exotic mammal clinic in Rome. London Vet Show is a highlight in the calendar for many veterinary professionals, renowned for its provision of top-class CPD and seminars, to which Supreme is pleased to be contributing with its exclusive lecture line-up. As well as being regarded as academic leaders of their profession, the specialists are also renowned successful speakers making for an unmissable seminar series. Charly Pignon took part in last year’s seminar series, which he says was so good that he’s back for more, “It was such a great event last year – I really enjoyed getting the chance to discuss a topic that I feel so passionately about and share my knowledge with other rabbit enthusiasts. The audience were really interactive so I’m already looking forward to this year’s event.” So, vets that are aiming for clinical excellence when dealing with bunnies should bounce on over to the Gallery Suite at London Vet Show on Friday the 21st of November for a start time of 13.00pm. Seats are sure to fill up quickly, so early arrival is advised to make sure delegates secure their spot on the sought after Rabbit Sessions series.
