Black and White cat Local veterinary group helps pet owners save their pet’s lives with free advice evening We all know our furry friends can occasionally get themselves into a spot of bother and how stressful this can be for all involved, so Sussex based Grove Lodge Vets are inviting local pet owners along to a free talk on first aid for dogs and cats, explaining what you can do to help your own four-legged friend in the time between accident and seeing the vet. This educational evening will be provided by one of Grove Lodge Vet’s most experienced clinicians, Romilly Ashdown MRCVS, who’ll share invaluable tips on how to deal with these stressful situations quickly, safely, and efficiently, helping to save your pet’s life. The talk will last for approximately an hour, with an opportunity for you to ask Romilly your own questions afterwards. Grove Lodge Vet Romilly says “If you experience an emergency with your pet, Grove Lodge Vets is the place to go, however until you can get your pet to us, it’s essential to know some basic first aid to ensure your pet has the best chance of a full recovery. We have a vet on our Worthing Vet Hospital premises 24/7 and 365 days a year, ready to help treat all your pets’ emergencies.” This special evening dedicated to first aid in dogs and cats will take place on Thursday 12th July 2012 from 7pm at Grove Lodge Vet’s brand new Southwick Clinic, 21 Southwick Street, Southwick, BN42 4AD, and is open to all members of the Grove Lodge Pet Health Club and their families. Cheese and wine will be provided on the night which will also provide a great opportunity to meet fellow animal lovers. Please call 01273 596201 now to reserve your place as numbers are limited. There’s no charge for this event, but it’s available only to members of Grove Lodge Vets Pet Health Club – a popular way of spreading the cost of routine preventative medicine over the year, saving you money too. Grove Lodge Vets very much look forward to welcoming you to this event!
