The Association Of Veterinary Anaesthetists Is Running A Nurse Training Day - Pain Management

"Pain and Analgesia" covers all aspects of pain management, from what is pain to setting up a pain clinic including local anaesthetic techniques, CRI's and acute and chronic pain. Aimed at qualified nurses with a keen interest in anaesthesia. Nurses also welcome to attend whole congress for additional fee.

10.45 – Perioperative analgesia – Sam McMillan VTS(Anesthesia), DipAVN(Med), RVN
11.30- Coffee
12.00 – Local analgesic/anaesthetic techniques – Liz Leece BVSc, CertVA, DipECVAA, MRCVS
13.30 – 14.30 – Lunch
14.30 - CRIs – Nicki Grint BVSc, DVA, DipECVAA, MRCVS
15.30 – Coffee
15.45 - Chronic Pain & alternative therapies – Bonnie Wright DVM, DACVA
16.45 – Setting up a pain clinic – Bonnie Wright DVM, DACVA
17.30 – Close
