The Midsummer Veterinary Group in Milton Keynes has won a business consultation package for their practice worth £10,000, thanks to Petplan.
Earlier this year, Petplan, the UK’s largest insurance provider, gave veterinary practices across the UK the chance to win a business consultation package for their practice, which included sessions with top UK marketing and operational experts to help the winning practice develop a comprehensive business plan.
Tam Johnston, Head Nurse at Midsummer Veterinary Group in Milton Keynes, was selected at random from over 1,325 entries, after entering the competition online. Staff at Midsummer Veterinary Group have already met with the Petplan team to scope out areas of their practice that they would like the consultation package to focus on.
“I’m so shocked! I can’t believe we won this - I had even forgotten that I had entered,” said Tam. “The package is such a great prize for us and it will really help us market the practice better, inject fresh ideas and learn more about our client’s perception of us.”
The Midsummer Veterinary Group, is independently owned with practices based in Statonbury Fields, Eaglestone and Oxley Park, and has a dedicated and caring team that has over 100 years experience of keeping Milton Keynes pets healthy.
Petplan’s Head of Marketing, Isabella von Mesterhazy says, “At Petplan, we’ve been working in partnership with the industry for over 35 years and we look to provide support to the industry at every opportunity. We developed the business consultation package so that practices, like the Midsummer Veterinary Group, can utilise our expertise to help them grow their business and ultimately treat more pets in the Milton Keynes.”3266 views
