A revolutionary new type of veterinary clinic in Morden, South London has appointed a vet with vision to develop its practice.

The Vet Morden has appointed Jen White, 32, to head up its team of experienced vets as Clinical Director. Jen, who has several years working with both small and large (farm / equine) animals, has taken up the reins at the clinic, which uniquely provides no-appointment walk-in consultations. In the interests of calm, cats and dogs are also able to wait in separate areas of The Vet’s waiting room.

Jen, who graduated from Edinburgh’s esteemed Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies four years ago after also training as a physiotherapist, is delighted to lead her new team.

She said: “I’m very pleased to have joined The Vet as it has such a wonderful concept behind it. The clinic has real vision in providing both clients and patients with the ideal setting in which to get the best possible levels of care and attention.

“The no appointment walk-in service gives pet owners the opportunity to come in at a time of their choosing. You would think this might lead to queues out of the door but it actually leads to more appointments spread over the day.

“The clinic is much more spacious than the average practice which allows cat and dog owners to sit in separate waiting areas with their pets. I’m very much looking forward to getting stuck into both the clinical and the managerial side of the role. I always wanted to be a vet and I’m very much looking forward to embarking on this new phase in my career. I’m also very much looking forward to working exclusively with small animals.”

The Vet Morden’s mission is to help enrich the special relationship between people and their pets by providing flexibility alongside high quality veterinary care and spacious and well-equipped facilities.
