Dedicated to advancing mental health awareness and professional development, global veterinary job platform The Vet Service proudly announces the upcoming Titanic Vet Show. Across 1.5 days, participants will engage with seven meticulously crafted sessions, blending expert talks with interactive workshops and Q+A segments (accruing 6.5 hours CPD and 9 VCI points pending), all focused on the theme of 'Connecting and Thriving.'

Set in the historic Titanic Belfast The show will span Friday and Saturday, featuring a curated lineup of speakers who are at the forefront of veterinary mental health and professional development including:

Friday 24th May

Saturday 25th May

This year, the show introduces dynamic new formats including a panel discussion on “Workplace Culture” led by Dr. Ebony-Ellen Escalona and featuring luminaries like expert coach Dr. Katie Ford, BVA JVP Dr. Elizabeth Mullineaux, BVA NI Susan Cunningham and Independent NI Practice Owner, Dan Flynn, of Flynn Vets.

Participants will also have the opportunity to engage with a wide spectrum of exhibitors, partake in unparalleled networking opportunities, and enjoy the elegance of a Black Tie Gala Dinner. Additionally, attendees have the opportunity to explore the Titanic Experience, adding a cultural dimension to the weekend's activities.

All proceeds will be donated to 'Vet Support', a voluntary mental health support service for vets across the UK and Ireland. Last year, the event proudly raised over £3400, and The Vet Service aims to surpass this milestone in 2024. This year Vetlife will be joining Vet Support in also providing a short talk talk over the weekend.

Ed Taylor, founder of The Vet Service, reflects on the initiative: “After the overwhelming positive feedback from our inaugural event, we're thrilled to expand our vision to not just address, but actively improve mental wellbeing and communication within our profession. This year is about actionable change, offering interactive sessions that empower veterinary professionals to Connect & Thrive.”
