Vetacademy Brings Popular American VN CPD 'On The Floor @Dove' To The UK

One of the most popular CPD resources in the USA is being made available to UK vet nurses via Vetacademy, a service offered by online content supplier Vetstream, which provides e-learning modules and online videos in partnership with some of the world’s leading veterinary CPD providers. On the Floor @Dove is an online, on-demand training resource for veterinary nurses. They learn from procedures performed on actual patients at the DoveLewis Emergency Animal Hospital, the only not-for-profit, 24-hour emergency and intensive care in the Northwest USA, based in Portland, Oregon, with content presented in by experienced, certified veterinary nurses. On the Floor @Dove was launched in 2012 and its website has received 71,000 visitors from the USA and 15,000 international visitors, including the UK. According to Mr Ron Morgan, CEO of DoveLewis Emergency Animal Hospital, it aims to offer a unique peer-to-peer training site created by veterinary professionals for veterinary professionals with content generated by certified specialists in areas such as cardiology, radiology, oncology and critical care.
